Traxxas 6492X Gear 25-T Pinion

25-tooth pinion gear, 1.0 metric pitch, sized for a 5mm motor shaft. Set screw included.

Pinion size is the easiest gearing change you can make. At 25 teeth this is one of the taller options in the range, chosen when top speed matters more than acceleration. Taller gearing loads the motor and ESC harder, so it suits open ground rather than tight, stop-and-go bashing.

Important: Traxxas specifies this pinion for use only with steel spur gears.

Fits: Traxxas Maxx Slash (102076-4) and other Traxxas models using a 5mm motor shaft with 1.0 metric pitch gearing.

Monitor motor and ESC temperatures closely after fitting a taller pinion.
