Modernize your freight handling with the Walthers Cornerstone 933-2918 Open-Air Transload Building, a typical post-War freight transfer facility for your yard or team track. By the 1950s many railroads had outgrown early-1900s freight houses, and the move to larger delivery trucks called for a purpose-built transload, making this a great destination for boxcars and flatcars.

The 933-2918 features a large concrete loading dock, an enclosed staging warehouse and a sheltered dock, along with ramps and canopies. Patterned after a Santa Fe prototype but similar to others used across the continent, it is a natural for detailing with pallets, drums, sacks and forklifts (sold separately) and a great stop for way freights and switchers in prototype operations. This easy-to-build plastic kit is molded in appropriate colors and measures 25 x 5-1/4 x 3" 63.5 x 13.3 x 7.6cm as shown.
