Walthers Cornerstone 933-2921 HO Mission-Style Freight House Kit

Complete your Southwestern scene with the Walthers Cornerstone 933-2921 Mission-Style Freight House, based on a standard Santa Fe design used across the railroad. As Santa Fe sold the American Southwest as a vacation destination, many stations and their attached or adjacent freight houses were reworked with pinkish-tan stucco walls, tile roofs and mission-style trim to resemble traditional adobe buildings, a style echoed on several other railroads.

This easy-to-build 933-2921 kit includes a realistic stucco structure, window glazing, wood trim, a brick platform and realistic printed signs. Use it alone or combine it with the Mission-Style Depot (933-2920, sold separately) for a matching facility. Many prototypes still stand, often repurposed for other uses, so it looks great on any layout set from the 1930s to the present. Molded in four colors plus clear, it measures 9-1/2 x 6-1/2 x 2-1/2" 24.1 x 16.5 x 6.3cm.
