Walthers Cornerstone 933-2948 HO Through Plate-Girder Bridge Kit

The Walthers Cornerstone 933-2948 HO scale Through Plate-Girder Bridge is based on one of the most common North American railroad bridge designs. Part of the Cornerstone Engineered Bridge System, it is made to work with matching system abutments and bridge piers. On the prototype these bridges span short distances of roughly 30 to 100' (9.1 to 30.4m) and are built from steel sections riveted together into girders; the track runs between the spans, which is what makes them through types.

Item 933-2948 can be built as either a single- or double-track bridge, and each kit includes parts for two complete spans so kits can be combined for a longer or wider crossing. The plastic parts are molded in dark gray with authentic rivets and other fine details, and the bridge suits steam, diesel and modern eras. It works well with Walthers Code 83 Bridge Track (948-886) or other trackage of your choice.
