Walthers Cornerstone 933-3017 HO New River Mining Company Kit

The Walthers Cornerstone 933-3017 HO scale New River Mining Company is a coal tipple typical of the 1950s corrugated structures still served on many railroads. Based on a trackside tipple for loading hoppers or gondolas, it can also load coal trucks for short hauls if you replace one track with a road.

Item 933-3017 features realistic corrugated metal construction, steel supports, separate ladders and stairways, a separate slack bin, and separate windows and walkway. It is set up to load hoppers on three tracks and includes a conveyor with supports that can run underground or to a distant mine head. The kit includes the main building, truck loading facility and conveyor, is molded in appropriate colors with clear glazing, and measures 12-1/2 x 9 x 9-3/8" (31.2 x 22.5 x 23.2cm).
