Walthers Cornerstone 933-3170 HO Walking Beam Oil Pump Kit

Seen alone or in groups wherever oil is found, the Walthers Cornerstone 933-3170 Walking Beam-Horse Head Oil Pump models one of the most common machines used to lift crude when natural pressure is no longer enough. The design has been typical of North American oil fields since the 1920s.

This 933-3170 kit includes a detailed stationary diesel power plant, a walking beam, a rear crank and counterweight, and the odd-shaped horse head front counterweight that gives the machine its nickname. It is engineered as a working model with a hidden drive, and you can motorize it by adding the Universal Gearbox and Motor Drive Kit (933-1050, sold separately). The finished pump measures 4-1/4 x 1-5/8 x 3" 10.8 x 4 x 7.6cm.
