The mill building is finished in board and batten siding under a corrugated metal roof, a style typical of permanent operations in colder climates.

Item 933-3236 also provides a canopied sorting area at the rear for fresh-cut boards and a nicely detailed powerhouse with twin smokestacks to keep the machinery running. Typical of structures built from the 1920s to the 1940s and still in use today, the model fits steam- or diesel-era scenes. Printed signs and easy assembly round out the kit.
