The kit includes a detailed stationary diesel power plant, walking beam, rear crank and counterweight, plus the distinctive horse-head front counterweight that gives the machine its nickname.

Item 933-3248 is engineered as a working model, with provisions for a hidden drive that mounts the motor beneath your layout surface. When you are ready to animate it, just add the Universal Gearbox and Motor Drive Kit (933-1050), sold separately. Precise engineering and complete instructions make for an easy, great-looking build. The finished pump measures 2-3/4 x 1 x 1-13/16" (6.8 x 2.5 x 4.5cm).
