Walthers Cornerstone 933-3811 N Gateman's Tower Kit pkg(2)

The Walthers Cornerstone 933-3811 Gateman's Tower is an N scale structure kit ideal for protecting steam- or diesel-era grade crossings. It is based on Milwaukee Road's distinctive eight-sided towers, whose shape gave the operator a better view of oncoming trains and traffic and housed the pneumatic controls used to raise and lower the crossing gates.

In use into the 1970s and found on other railroads as well, the design in kit 933-3811 comes with parts for two complete towers along with tool sheds and storage bins. Parts are molded in gray and clear plastic. Each tower measures 5/8" 1.6cm in diameter, each tool shed measures 11/16 x 7/16" 1.8 x 1.1cm, and each coal box measures 5/16 x 1/4" .8 x .6cm.
