Walthers Cornerstone 933-3823 N Wood Coaling Tower Kit

The Walthers Cornerstone 933-3823 Wood Coaling Tower is an N scale structure kit based on a typical two-track design that will be a focal point in any engine terminal. Towers like this were built in yards and along main and branch lines to refuel steam locomotives on the road.

Easy to build, kit 933-3823 features a realistic coal bunker with detailed chutes and mechanisms plus a hopper unloading shed along one side. Like the prototype it can serve two tracks at once for maximum service in minimum space, making it a natural companion to a roundhouse, turntable, water tank and sand tower. Decal signs are included and parts are molded in appropriate colors. The tower measures 3-5/8 x 2-1/4 x 6-1/2" 9.2 x 5.7 x 16.5cm.
