The Walthers Cornerstone 933-4047 HO scale Prairie Co-Op Elevator kit adds variety to grain-handling scenes with a small-town concrete producer elevator. Square four-silo structures like this often stand alongside older wooden elevators and feed mills, and the type has been in use from about 1915 to today.

The elevator receives grain by truck and ships it out in covered hoppers or, in the late steam and classic diesel era, in grain-door boxcars. The 933-4047 includes the silos and off-center headhouse, a cement block unloading shed, a cement block office with truck scale, loading spouts for boxcars and covered hoppers, plus a separate dust collector, vents and sampling arm. Molded in white, light gray and clear plastic, the elevator and unloading shed measure 5-1/8 x 7-1/4 x 12" (13 x 18.4 x 30.4cm) and the office 4-3/8 x 3-1/2 x 2-1/4" (11.1 x 8.8 x 5.7cm).
