Walthers Cornerstone 933-4054 HO Pella Depot Kit

The Walthers Cornerstone 933-4054 HO scale Pella Depot kit suits a growing small town or county seat on any steam- or diesel-era layout. Fancier stations like this served communities that generated heavy business or faced competition between railroads from the 1890s onward.

Based on a Rock Island prototype at Pella, Iowa, that survives today as a museum, the 933-4054 features realistic brickwork, curved eave brackets, simulated leaded glass transom windows and a distinctive bell roof. Molded in three colors plus clear glazing and including printed signs and window shades, similar stations were used by many railroads. The model measures 12 x 5 x 3-1/2" (30 x 12.7 x 8.8cm).
