The Walthers Cornerstone 933-4065 HO scale Mid-Century Modern Freight Station kit modernizes less-than-carload (LCL) service on your railroad. Its simple, linear design is typical of the many railroad buildings constructed during the postwar modernization programs of the 1950s.
The prototype served in railroad use from 1950 to 1994 and is now listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The 933-4065 features authentic brick and concrete construction, a detailed station and office area, and a freight annex with road and rail loading docks and a ramp, plus separate doors, windows and other details. The finished model measures 27-3/4 x 8-1/2 x 2-3/4" (70.5 x 21.5 x 6.9cm).
