Walthers Cornerstone 933-4093 HO Coal Trestle Kit

The Walthers Cornerstone 933-4093 Coal Trestle is an HO scale structure kit that makes quick work of coal deliveries in tight spaces. The prototypes were installed on cramped city lots and rural locations, where they used gravity to speed the unloading of hoppers and their return to the railroads from the 1900s to the 1960s.

A molded ramp simplifies modeling track on a grade, and the 933-4093 supplies a detailed trestle with supports, an abutment, railing and a walkway, plus optional bulkheads to build below-track storage bins. A separate coal conveyor is included; the prototypes also moved sand and gravel from hoppers to trucks. It makes a great addition to trackside coal dealers, lumber and building materials yards, and heavy industries. The kit measures 24-1/2 x 4-3/8 x 1-3/4" (62.3 x 11.1 x 4.4cm).
