Steam-era modelers with limited space will appreciate the Walthers Cornerstone 933-4202 Small Wood Coaling Station. Based on a 40-ton capacity CB&Q prototype, it combines a compact footprint with terrific detail, making it ideal for branch lines, short lines, or smaller end-point terminals.

Item 933-4202 is a signature steam-era structure typical of small towers used on many railroads large or small. It features highly detailed support timbers, a machinery house, a grate, a coal chute, counterweights, and more, and works alongside other Cornerstone structures (each sold separately) to build a complete engine terminal. Molded in gray plastic, the model measures 3 x 5-5/8 x 7-13/16" (7.8 x 14.1 x 19.7cm) with a track centerline of 4-13/16" (12.1cm).
