It captures one of the most common North American railroad bridge designs, a riveted plate-girder span used for decades to cross short distances between 30 and 90' (9.1 to 30.4m). As a through girder bridge, the track runs between the girders, keeping the deck low while adding clearance over highways, waterways, and other rail lines.

The 933-4502 kit is part of the Cornerstone Engineered Bridge System and works with the system's abutments and bridge piers. It builds as a single-track bridge and includes an optional center girder for easy conversion to double-track or a wider right-of-way by combining kits. Plastic parts are molded in color with authentic rivets and fine detail. Use it with WalthersTrack Code 83 Bridge Track 948-83004 or other track of your choice.
