This model reproduces one of the most common North American railroad bridge designs, a riveted plate-girder span of the type used for decades to cross short distances between 30 and 90' (9.1 to 30.4m). Being a through girder bridge, the track passes between the girders for extra clearance over highways, waterways, and other railroads.

The 933-4503 kit is part of the Cornerstone Engineered Bridge System and is designed to match the system's abutments and bridge piers. It builds as a single-track bridge with an optional center girder for easy conversion to double-track or a wider right-of-way by combining kits. Plastic parts are molded in color with authentic rivets and fine detail, and the bridge pairs with Walthers Code 83 Bridge Track 948-83004 or other track of your choice.
