Create authentic diesel-era freights with the Walthers Mainline 910-2250 40' American Car and Foundry Welded Boxcar with 8' Youngstown door, in undecorated finish. Introduced in the late 1950s, the wider door opening proved popular with shippers and receivers because it allowed fast, easy forklift access. These cars served into the 1980s, and the layout-ready model captures their look right out of the box.
Item 910-2250 is a one-time run of these road numbers. The model features a detailed 10-panel body, 8' Youngstown doors, late Stanray 4/4 improved Dreadnaught ends, a Stanray diagonal panel roof and Apex see-through steel running boards. It rides on correct 33" turned metal wheelsets and is equipped with Proto MAX metal knuckle couplers.
Key Features:
- HO scale 40' ACF Welded Boxcar with 8' Youngstown door, undecorated
- Item number 910-2250 from Walthers Mainline
