Model the early postwar era with the Walthers Mainline 910-2350 40' PS-1 Boxcar kit in undecorated finish. As North American railroads began replacing war-weary equipment, many turned to Pullman-Standard and the brand-new 40' PS-1 Boxcar. Based on early cars built from 1947 to 1949, this kit suits both steam- and diesel-era layouts, since some of the prototypes were still in service into the late 1980s.
Item 910-2350 is a one-time run of these road numbers with limited quantity available, supplied as a kit for you to assemble. The model reflects early postwar production with Pullman-Standard ends (no rectangles), a Pullman-Standard bowtie roof with flat panels, a see-through Apex steel running board and 6' Superior doors. It includes correct 33" RP-25 metal wheelsets and Proto MAX metal knuckle couplers.
