Walthers Proto 920-2202 HO Heavyweight 6-Wheel Trucks, Type 242A

The Walthers Proto 920-2202 Type 242A heavyweight trucks are based on prototypes that used one-piece cast sideframes and were applied to a wide range of heavyweight equipment. These six-wheel metal trucks fit the Walthers 932-series Heavyweight 12-1 Sleeper, 14-Section Sleeper and 3-2 Observation, all out of production, and adapt to many other models. They come fully assembled and ready to install.

Item 920-2202 is an easy upgrade for both new and older HO scale passenger cars, with built-in electrical contacts for car lighting. Each pair rides on 36" turned metal RP-25 wheels.
