Walthers SceneMaster 949-2609 HO 40' Flexi-Van Pennsylvania Railroad

Recreate early piggyback railroading with the Walthers SceneMaster 949-2609 Flexi-Van 40' Trailer 2-Pack lettered for Pennsylvania Railroad in its Truc-Train scheme with side doors. Introduced in 1958 with removable wheels for specially equipped Flexi-Van flatcars, these trailers were later converted to standard 40' trailers for road and rail service into the 1980s. Both are fully assembled and ready for service.

Item 949-2609 includes two trailers with detailed wheels and bogie with landing gear, plus side doors as appropriate for the prototype. They make an authentic load for early intermodal flatcars, available separately, or serve as standalone detail on highways and in terminals.
