Add variety to your HO scale intermodal scenes with this Walthers SceneMaster 949-2613 Flexi-Van 40' Trailer 2-Pack, lettered for Soo Line with an Intermodal Service placard. Introduced in 1958, Flexi-Van trailers used removable wheels so their bodies could travel on purpose-built Flexi-Van flatcars, and a great many were later converted to conventional 40' highway trailers that stayed in service into the 1980s.
The two trailers in the 949-2613 set arrive fully assembled and ready for the road or the ramp, each riding on a detailed bogie with landing gear and finely molded wheels, and fitted with end doors matching this prototype. Use the pair as an authentic load on the WalthersMainline G85 (910-5479 series) and other early intermodal flatcars, sold separately.
Key Features:
- HO scale (1:87) Flexi-Van 40' trailer 2-pack from Walthers SceneMaster
- Item number 949-2613, fully assembled and ready to place
- Lettered for Soo Line with Intermodal Service placard
- End doors as appropriate to the prototype
- Detailed wheels and bogie with landing gear
- Serves as a load for WalthersMainline G85 (910-5479 series) and other early intermodal flatcars, sold separately
